Arrival and preparation
Arrival in Thessaloniki, transfer to Ouranoupoli, accommodation and preparation for entering Mount Athos.
The logistics are clear and the programme respects the permits granted and the order of the Holy Mountain. Below you can see the route day by day, what is fixed and what depends on availability.
Athos does not run on a fixed timetable. That is why we separate what is fixed from what depends on permits, monastery availability and the weather.

Visits to monasteries, cells and sketes. The programme may include Koutloumousiou Monastery, a walk to Iviron, transport to Lakkoskiti and, subject to availability, Saint Paul or Saint Panteleimon.
Departure from Mount Athos by boat, return to Ouranoupoli and transfer to Thessaloniki.
The final programme is confirmed before departure and may be adapted depending on monastery availability, weather, transport, the rules of Mount Athos and the pace of the group.

The price is per person and is set on the day you confirm your booking. It does not vary by device, by where you access the site from, or by how many times you have visited. Documents for the permit are sent 30 days before departure, so a late booking leaves less time for the formalities.
The price shown is the one valid today for each date.
